Faith Networking for Passionate Spirituality
These people are not drunk, as you suppose. No, this is what was spoken through the prophet:
God declares "I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh." (Acts 2.15-17)
What do you see in the city of Milwaukee and the places where you live, work and play?
In the region with the most bars per capita than any other in the country, people are thirsting for something more authentic than what is available on tap. Many have tasted a new brew. People are coming together in one Spirit, and the more they share in the Spirit the more they thirst to drink from the cup of life again and again.
This is the Spirit who transforms people by connecting us to Jesus, who reconciles us to one another together in harmony with the whole cosmos in God.
So you think that you've heard it all before -- all that there is to know about Jesus and you don't want to hear any more about the same ol' Christianity?
Well, we have no interest in arguing with anyone by reciting canned doctrine. We simply want to invite you to encounter Jesus in a way you may never have before: by intentionally networking with others on your spiritual journey over a cup of espresso, glass of soda, or a bottle of beer.
If you're asking yourself spiritual questions, wrestling with doubts, or exploring new beliefs then you'll find conversation partners at Thirst for your journey.
If you're discerning whether God exists and if so what God may be up to in your life, then rather than offering pat answers Thirst will help support you in the depths of your discernment.
Organized religion isn't the only option. Come as you are with your unique spirituality -- whether Christian, agnostic, or otherwise -- and connect with others in their discernment.
At Thirst, you can network with young adults for passionate spirituality. Tap into it.

Ever describe yourself as
'spiritual but not religious'?
Thirst is a gathering of people who have tapped into something larger than life.
On our own, we can't discern what it is or how it's transforming our lives. It's much too organic for that. No one faith community, denomination, religion, or worldview can monopolize it. It's much too real for that. And while we each have questions about it, no one else can force their answers on us. It's much too intimate for that.
At Thirst, we don't expect you to have it all figured out . . . or to act like you fit any false stereotype . . . or to pretend to be someone you're not.
The only thing we expect of you, is for you to be you.
The real you. Bringing to our conversation your voice. Your questions. Your doubts. Your own unique journey through life. What we've tapped into is much too authentic for anything else.
